Making PayPal payments

For those who are unfamiliar with PayPal, the process works something like this (varies with the type of payment):

  1. Click the button "Donate" or "Add to Cart" (takes you to PayPal's secure site) Remember, you can cancel out of PayPal's site anytime by clicking the link: "Return to Maine's Swedish Colony, Inc." or by not completing all these steps.
  2. Enter donation $ amount and click the button: "Update Total".  (if the amount is preset the total is prefigured)
  3. Click the link: "Continue" under the heading: "Don't have a PayPal account?" (the link is not very obvious) This link takes you to the credit card information page. Don't "Log In" unless you have a PayPal account or want to create one. PayPal would like to have you create an account with them but it is not necessary for your transaction.
  4. Enter credit card information and click the button: "Review Donation and Continue". This button takes you to the review page.
  5. For donations: on the page: "please review your donation" you can specify how we are to use your donation. The are several other options as well. Finally, click the Button: "Donate $XX.XX USD Now" to complete the transaction.
  6. Print a receipt for your records if you wish. Also, you will get an email receipt automatically.
