Bachelor of Arts in History with an additional major in Archaeology, Michigan State University,
1996, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Employment:
1/2001-present: Research Assistant, Professor Martha McNamara, University of Maine.
- Creating a database and web site of resources for a landscape history project.
2/2001-present: Research Consultant, Bangor Savings Bank.
- Conducting research for 150th anniversary book.
5/2000-8/2000: Archivist, Waterford Historical Society and McLaughin Foundation Gardens,
Waterford and South Paris, Maine.
- Finding, organizing, and creating an inventory for archival documents at a local historical society.
- Inventorying and photo-documenting 100 year old herbarium in the collection of a public garden.
9/1998-5/2000: Teaching Assistant, University of Maine History Department.
- Assisting faculty with grading, working with students, running discussion groups, and lecturing for introductory level history courses.
