The Merrill House Hotel (at left) was Stockholm's leading hotel and boarding house.  It was operated by A.B. Anderson.

  The Swedish Baptist Church was organized November 3, 1904 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Anderson.  In their first year, members raised money, and began work on a building, at right, which is still home to the congregation.

Nick Wessil's store was one of several stores in Stockholm at its peak.  Today, only Anderson's general store remains.
